Lady Bears earn Coach Clarence first win over Dimond

BARTLETT HIGH SCHOOL -- This last Thursday, February 20, the Bartlett Lady Bears played the Dimond Lynx in Coach Clarence's first win against Dimond as a Bartlett coach, beating Dimond 49-37. 

 

The stat sheet was pretty balanced for the Bears with Nyapar Mathot leading the charge with a double-double: 13 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Mia ‘Uhila put up 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Kaitlyn Herrmann also had a pretty decent night of her own notching 13 points, seven rebounds and two assists. 

 

After Thursday’s win, the Bears extended their lead in the Cook Inlet Conference by two games ahead of West High School. The ladies current record is 14-6 with all six losses coming outside of CIC play. 

 

The Bears were supposed to have another game on Friday, February 21, but it was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. The game isn’t expected to be rescheduled.
